Happy Valentine's Day

(The rugged mountain wife calls this a "Hallmark" day.)
Complete with the obligatory cards, candy, chocolate, and flowers.
I think it's an FCC conspiracy (Florists, Cardists, and Confectioners)
to guilt everyone into purchasing these items by the millions.

Even though she says it isn't necessary, it is still nice to do.

Also unexpected, was more snow...

Looks like this little project won't get finished today, either.

Decided to go to the Auto Show in Spokane instead...

The paint on this "Mystic Cobra SVT" is incredible.
It changes from deep purple to cobalt blue to aqua marine.

Viper. (Red, of course.)

This was more of a "sale" than a "show".
No spotlights, glamour girls, nor concept cars. Just salesmen.
Thought we would check out the Motorcycle Show instead...

Walked right on past Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha, BMW, & Russian Ural.
Nothing wrong with them, mind you. We're just biased.

Saw everything from factory "custom" to "choppers". Flames, it's all good.

Candy apple, pearl, metal flake, murals. And all dripping with chrome.

Here's a rather rustic ride.
Genuine leather seat, oak trim, dual horns, and kick start. All original.

Then we found this.

"Fiery Flames From Biblical Themes".

Included here are: Moses and the Burning Bush,

and Jesus my Lord and Savior.

The "show" was highlighted by a Moto-Globe Stunt Show.
Motorcyclists riding inside this 14' diameter sphere.
Round and round, and upside down.

The finale for this touring family troup was with father and 11 yr. old son,
each riding their own motorcycles in opposing orbits,
while mom stands at the center. A real crowd pleaser. Good show.
