The Idle of March
Spring is definitely upon us. Here come the knapweeds.
While I wait for the ground to thaw some more,
decided I would try to salvage some of this lumber.
I can use it to construct my new workbench.
While I'm at it, maybe clean up the kennel...
Elijah makes a fine supervisor.
First I removed all of these pine clippings (dog chews).
I'm going to miss the snow. It is so much prettier.
These beams are 4x3" and 20' long. They weigh about 120# each. Ugh.
The Passion of the Rugged Mountain Man? Oh, never mind.
I filled in the trench. (How do you bury a hole?)
This 4-hour project only took 3 weeks.
The poopies were exhausted from watching me work.
They enjoyed a short break by woofing down some cookies.
Must be quittin' time.
