We went to the Rock, Gem, Mineral & Jewelry Show thingy today.
Saw lots of this and every other kind of rock imaginable.
From raw specimens to polished spheres, geodes to laboratory grown crystals,
cabochons to cameos, diamonds to dinosaurs, an 82 carat amethyst,
and lots of things I couldn't pronounce that ended in "ite".
An interesting bunch these rockhounding, prospecting, spelunking, gemological,
flintknapping lapidarians...
My hobby?
Beef. Burning some cow. Moo-Bee-Que.
My apologies to the "protein challenged".
Carbs have nothing to do with it.
Never mind a few shrimps on the barbie.
These guys have to earn their stripes...
