Palm Sunday, April 4

Oh yeah, daylight savings time. OOps, forgot to do the clock thingy last night.
Just how many clocks do we have, anyhow? Let's see: three wall clocks, a desk clock,
two alarm clock radios, a boom box, the VCR, microwave, coffee maker, oven,
fax/copier/scanner, digital camera, vehicle console display, and my wristwatch.
Never mind the hour I've already lost. It will take another just to set them all...

I remembered seeing an old water meter near the driveway, so I dug it up.

It had been buried by gravel, dirt and weeds. So I marked it with a post.

Inside it was a cross with a smiley.
The valve is likely an alternate shutoff
for the other two properties that share the well.

Then under this piece of plywood...

was a plastic sheet and a field mouse. But he got away.
Now I know what all those little burrowing trails are.

And under that, the cover to the septic tank.
I decided it best not to open that one.

OK, you're thinking, "TMI" (Too Much Information).
Yes, probably stuff no one else is interested in, but,
it is important to know these things before digging post holes,
or bringing in a tractor to plow the south 40.

Continued working on turning this pile...

into this pile. Hey, I didn't say I was working hard.

Chaos ensued when this stranger wandered into camp.
The poopies went nuts. No one was injured.
