The dawn on the eve of the New Year
It has been quite a year.
I won't go into detail, you were there.
Perhaps each of us had a slightly different perspective,
and our own unique collection of experiences.
It is good to be with family and friends,
to look back and to reflect, to share memories,
but mostly to celebrate life with a new sense of optimism,
in that there is always hope, and that next year will be better.
