Sunrise or sunset? Sometimes it's hard to tell.
Guess what, kids? Do you know what time it is?
It's <SOAPBOX> time again! Here's a few comments about the
"State of the Union Address"
First of all, great speech, Mr. President.
I won't bore all of you with a long, in-depth analysis.
The liberal media will take care of that, no doubt.
No, I'm more disturbed (but not surprised) by the outrageous display
of disrespect by the left. (And they said it was stadium seating!)
On almost every key issue, the applause and standing ovations were split
right down the middle. One half stood and cheered, the other half sat, and were caught
snickering, shaking their heads, whispering to a colleague, or making other offensive gestures.
The only time the dems stood and cheered was when the President said,
"Congress did not act last year on my proposal to save Social Security, "
and they didn't even allow him to finish the sentence. Disgraceful.
My only comment to the President, and I mean this sincerely,
and in the spirit of constructive criticism, is this ...
If you are ever going to be taken seriously about improving education,
or negotiating with countries who are developing weapons of mass murder,
then please learn to pronounce this word:
