Some wind and more power outages overnight.
Looks like we received another inch or two of the white stuff.

The one advantage to not being finished with this project yet,

is the automatic snow removal.

Freezing rain has turned to drizzle.
It is already knocking all of the snow from the trees,
and making everything slushy again.

Laz is content to watch the rain from indoors.

Might be a good day to stain some more planks,
rather than work right under the roof line...

The quail sought shelter under the burb.
For now, the burb isn't so lucky.

Strong wind and rain. Yup. Indoors.

Thought I would help out with the sanding.

But the belt sander needs a new belt,
and the orbital sander wouldn't orbit.

So the Mrs. continued sanding, and said,
"Why don't you fix the sander while I do this?"

So I took it apart and tinkered.

Turned out to be a faulty switch.

By the time I had bypassed the switch,
and got the sander working, she had finished sanding.
We then stained a bunch of boards.

We still have a few more to do.

Some people put their Christmas lights up before Thanksgiving.
Ours will be staying up. We are ready for next year.

The avalanche that slid off the roof has now melted.

After it freezes, we could use it for curling.
