State of the Union ...
Not to bloviate or anything, just an idea:
Send in more troops. Sweep the entire country.
Kill the terrorists, insurgents, jihadists,
extremists, or any other vermin.
Confiscate the oil fields, then sell it back to them
for $100 per barrel. That should balance the budget.
Bring the troops home, then de-nuke Iran. Or nuke.
And while we're at it, the foothills of Afghanistan, Pakistan,
or any other 'stan. Seal off all the borders, and then let Israel
be the peace keeping force in the entire region.
Oh, and Palestine?
I've been reading about "Middle East Peace Talks" since
I was old enough to read. Talk, talk, talk...
Cease fires. Land for Peace deals. Nobel Peace Prizes.
I remember when Arafat was just a gun-toting thug with the PLO.
Or was it the PLA? Yeah, Army. That's it. So long ago...
Peace in our lifetime.
