Fog in the bog.

A little damp, but warming up fast.

Went on a hike with the Mrs.
I tried to keep up.

Some honkers coming in for a landing...

Signs of spring. Only a few patches of snow left.

The mountain springs are flowing faster.

And the ant hills are growing.

We're talking lots of ants.

It's too hot for deck building,
so we decided to stain the rest of the planks.

The inspector is always on the job.

It was nice to move the whole operations outdoors.

It was sunny and warm most of the afternoon.

A bit more challenging when the wind picked up.
It blew over our paint trays a couple times.

But we have officially run out of lumber.
We will need about 30 more planks to finish the
deck surface area, then we still have to get the
posts and railings, not to mention the stairs...

Another benefit of getting everything out of the barn,
is being able to park inside for the first time since October.

Fired up the tractor and knocked down the hardened mud.

Then knocked down one of those ant hills.
This one was only about a foot tall, and two feet around.
They can become ant mountains if you let them.

Uh oh. That's never a good sign.

Turned out to be hydraulic fluid. (Usually is.)

Just a little overflow. Nothing broken.

Our BoWrench tool had some worn out pins.

I sent the company an email, asking where I might find some replacements.
They replied, "What's your address? We'll send you some."

Within days, we had new pins. Now THAT's customer service.
