The last day of winter felt like summer,
and yet this first day of spring felt more like winter.
We had rain most of the day, and even a few snow flurries.
Mostly blue sky by the time I got home. Cool, but calm.
But then there was this cloud...
At first, it was a rain and snow mix,
with the sun still shining. A light breeze.
I walked down to the mailbox...
By the time I got there, it was hailing.
I turned to come back down the driveway,
and was met with a strong headwind. Gusting to 40.
Then, suddenly, it stopped. Out came the sun.
Just in time for our first pink sunset of spring...
