Yup, another school day off due to snow. Both days these kids got off there
was no new snow. Go figure. There is supposed to be a doosy storm tonight. 8-10" of snow
in the valleys and up to 24" in the mountains. We are sort of in the middle between the valleys
and mountains. They make weather and snowfall distinctions at about 3000 feet and we are at 2400 feet.
I figured I better get this snow blower fixed if I new what was good for me (or my leg). So off to the tool
chest I went. Got my wrenches and sat down to figure out how to tighten that stinking cable.
This is the culprit. Turned that nut but nothing happened, so then I turned that black tubey-thingy
and BAM, tighter she got. Yippee. Tried it out on the deck and never had to pull that cable once.
I am clearing away the snow from the BBQ. With the Rugged Mountain East Coaster coming home late tomorrow
night, I figured he'd want to BBQ at some point in the near future. After all, it IS BBQ weather!
