Wow, we had a late night last night. Spencer, Ashley and Cody (a friend of Spencer's)
were scheduled to go to a concert at "The Big Easy" in Spokane, Wa. They bought tickets several weeks ago
and I told them I would take them and pick them up. Yesterday afternoon while we were making the cookie
puppet, Ashley was complaining of an upset stomach. So she went to bed after several visits to the porcelain goddess.
So now we are down to two. My preference, mind you, was for three for safety in numbers sake. In any case, I took the two teen boys to Spokane
while Ashley slept. I decided to just stay in Spokane and shop while they were at the concert. But, of course, all the stores close at 9
and the concert lasted until 11:00. So we got home at midnight after delivering Cody home. Thus both of us are bushed today.
Ashley stayed home from school and was feeling lots better by this afternoon, finally able to hold down food.
All in all it was an ok day.
I never get tired of the patterns the elements make on the snow in the sunlight...
