Another dusting of snow last night.
Just enough to highlight the trees,
and to cover the deck. This will melt away by noon.
Off to church on this blustery day without the Mrs.
She still has a fever. Poor thing.
The girls were out for a walk.
Many of their seasonal breakfast spots aren't open yet.
This pair of Western Bluebirds were checking out nesting sites.
Sialia mexicana
I'm ready for my closeup.
Tailfeathers.
And profile.
Seems to be a lot of birdies out today.
Might as well make them feel welcome.
This nearby tree offers a great vantage point.
With all these cats around, they have to be careful.
The girls are back. (The Wild Bunch.)
Lots of color in those feathers when the sun hits them just right.
Tink hunting some wild turkey. (Yeah, right.)
Jumping into a tree, trying to catch sparrows instead.
The dinner crowd.
Words out. Every bird in the valley knows now...
You've heard of "cow-tippng"?
This is another version called "horse-play".
Take down! Face plant into the snow.
Time for a pay back...
Tink, the mighty huntress. Perched, as always.
The weatherman hinted at possible snow tonight.
When will it end?
