Snow. (It's a four-letter word.)
We could all use a little global warming.
Even the birdies are grounded.
Meanwhile, back at the office...
Yup. Snowing here, too.
Looks very serious. Snowing with purpose.
Ahh, my trusty burb. I've got your carbon footprint right here.
Today we are having an Open House to celebrate
the opening of our new building.
Some of the amenities include this deluxe kitchen.
Free coffee, tea, cocoa, and cider.
Free sodas, juice, and bottled water of all flavors.
And for this afternoon, there is beer and chilled wine.
And some not so chilled wine.
What's this? A break in the weather?
The sun came out.
Started melting the snow.
The Open Hosue was very pleasant.
The catered food was a nice assortment of sandwiches,
cheese and crackers, chicken wings, veggie platters,
with cupcakes, mixed nuts, and M&M's for us kiddies,
then a platter of sushi appeared. (yum.)
The 2" of snow that fell had already melted off of the prairie.
But there is still some on top.
When we got home, we found some turkey tracks.
I wondered what they had been up to.
They wandered about in all directions.
Perhaps it was a clever trick to throw us off.
Yup. They've been in the spa again.
Looks like more weather is coming.
Just a hint of pink before the storm...
