Another light dusting on top of frozen slush.
It was very cold this morning, and the roads were slick.
Traffic was crawling at 25 mph on the freeway, and that was still too fast.
In four miles I saw five spin-outs, and one rollover. Wow!
The afternoons are starting to get warmer, and the days a little longer.
The snow melts and forms a large puddle.
This is not the driveway I had imagined.
I played with the tractor for a while,
trying to drag some of the gravel back into the low spots.
All that did was make slush and mud. Yuk.
When the shadows cover the valley floor,
it doesn't take long for it to get cold again.
And once again, the driveway starts to freeze.
