Still dark and cold in the morning when I leave for work.
But soon I will have daylight at both ends of my day.
Another "Open House" at work this afternoon.
The first one was for employees and their families, this one was more formal.
We had corporate executives, the builder,
a state representative, and the mayor, all making speech.
Complete with giant scissors and a ribbon.
Followed by the customary and polite "golf clap",
then it's off to the kitchen for more food and spirits.
The birdies needed something better than a ladder.
The feeders were finally remounted on the hanger.
Now Tink can only watch from a safe distance.
The birdies appreciated that.
The reflecting pond, and bird bath.
