Yes, folks. It is snowing once again.

Several inches of it, and more coming.

The birdies are confused.

The driveway is no longer usable.

Everyone has cabin fever.

One of the neighbors came out to play.

Elijah runs over to say hello.

He moves very well in this stuff.

The poopies have a bow-wow.

Our feeders are very popular.

But nests are hard to come by.

We bought these apple trees a couple weeks ago,
thinking we might do some spring like projects.

This late bloomer can't wait much longer.

And yet it snows.

Just where is Weather Rock, anyway?
Must have known it was coming, and took a vacation.
Found a temporary replacement. Says it's a fair weather lobbyist.

The Mrs. put some advertising magnets on her veggie monster.

We drove to the airport to collect the traveling teen.

Some pretty scenery along the way.

Here we are.

"Please be sure all of your electronic devices have been turned off,
and stowed in the parking lot."

This water park is now an Olympic Team practice run for luge and bobsled.

More foothills near the old homestead.

I'll take the pretty blue one.

Next time I install Christmas lights...

The Canfield Mountain towers.

We heard about a fundraiser for a local family in need.

We arrived a little early, so that we could see some of the items
that had been donated and were being auctioned or raffled.
The band was getting set up.

There was a BBQ and lots of goodies for dessert.

One of our friends from church, Gordon, was volunteered to MC.

The family offered some words of hope and prayer.
Not a dry eye in the house.

Throughout the evening, while people ate and socialized,
the winners of silent auctions and raffles were announced.
The family was truly overwhelmed with the generosity and support.

We did not know the family, but we were very moved by this experience.

Then there was the live auction. Over 20 items up for bid.
Everything from cakes to construction projects.
One of the items donated was 2500 sq. ft. of house siding, installed.
The project when completed would be valued at over $18,000.

Gordon picked up this bear carving, one of a pair that
was hand made by the family's Grandpa.

Carol courageously bid on and won this concert package:
Two tickets to Def Leppard, Styx, and REO Speedwagon,
dinner at the Catacombs Restaurant, and a night at the Montvale Hotel.
It was much more than we would have spent on ourselves,
but for such a worthy cause, it will be a very special event.

It was nearly 10 PM before the band had the opportunity to play.
Most folks were on their way out the door by then. Too bad.
They sounded like they could play well, but were a little loud for the room.

We almost didn't go. Now we feel thrilled that we didn't miss it.
It was a wonderful evening, and then it hits you...
This is a young man, a skilled carpenter, a spiritual leader with a loving family.
Who just a couple weeks ago, walked into a hospital to check out some headaches.

We pray for him and his family.
