A day without snow. (So far...)
Decided to go play with the tractor.
I tried to break up the ice pack so the water could drain away.
I tried getting under the ice, but couldn't lift it.
I tried chopping at it with the back blade.
I tried shaving it with the loader.
Then after an hour of abusing my tractor,
I used Mr. Sledge and a chisel to crack the one foot thick ice.
Uh oh. Looks like some weather is coming.
Yup. Hail.
I did what I could to fill in the low spots.
But everything turned into slush.
Maybe it will harden overnight.
More blue sky just before sunset.
The neighbor's horse was putting on a show.
The poopies didn't get it.
